Data migration contacts

Content of this service

1. We arrange a meeting with you. At the first meeting, we'll discuss your contact list and check its feasibility. We'll show you the most important instructions for a successful contact migration.

Appointment duration: max. 1 hour (customer and product specialist together)

Support: TeamViewer / telephone

2. Based on this information, you can process the Excel list independently and prepare it for the migration.

Duration: depends on the contact list and your involvement

Support: you do it yourself

3. We book a second appointment and work with you to import up to 500 contacts. Once the import has been successfully completed, you'll be able to carry out further imports on your own.

Note

1. allowed files:
- XLS, XLSX, CSV

2. the file must have a heading/title in the first line.

3. mandatory information:
- contact type (company or private)
- company name
- last name

4. other information that can be imported:
- contact number
- category / industry
- additional address or first name
- address, zip code, city, country
- two phone numbers
- mobile number
- fax
- two e-mails
- website
- skype
- date of birth
- notes
- language
- title
- contact person

5. contact person:
- several contact persons can be imported per company contact

6. duplicates:
- Contacts that are listed more than once are imported more than once. Please correct them beforehand

7. Information we collect for you in the settings before import:
- contact category
- contact branch
- missing countries
- missing languages
- title

8. Information we cannot import for you:
- Incorrect e-mails (contains special characters / spaces / capital letters)
