Sync your bexio contacts to mailchimp

SympleSync provides you an easy way to exchange your information’s across different applications to improve the efficiency of your company and make more out of your data.

To exchange your bexio contacts we do offer you Syncs with different configuration and options to use them in Mailchimp the best way fit for your company needs:

• Sync a defined bexio category or all your contacts to Mailchimp
• Define the member state in which your contacts should be synced so it fits with your Mailchimp setup
• Implement further Syncs for data exchange with your growing business requirements
• If you should need a more tailor-made exchange, you are always able to go for a customized exchange

As bexio as well as Mailchimp offers you different implementation variations we do provide you several configurations and options to setup your Sync:

• Define a “Tag” name, to mark the address entries synced from bexio to Mailchimp. Like this you will be able to filter the addresses in Mailchimp by tag for your further actions.
• Based on your Mailchimp setup you can define in which state the member should be created:
  • “Unsubscribed” (recommended): Create new Mailchimp members with the specified tag, so you can access in main audience list and go for further proceeding in Mailchimp:
    - Select the address entries you would like to change the state to “Subscribed”.
    - Add additional tags or other provided Mailchimp functionalities to use Mailchimp Automation.
    - Move them into another Audience list, if you the option provided based on your Mailchimp price plan.
    - Use our additional helper Mailchimp Sync to tag all entries you would like to invite to your newsletter by sending the Double Opt-in email.
  • “Pending”: If you create your members with pending, the Double Opt-In email is automatically sent to the new member. Please note that you have to go for further configurations in Mailchimp, so the members get a proper Double Opt-In email send by Mailchimp.
  • “Subscribed”: The created member is assigned to your newsletter directly without any Double Opt-in – if you go with this option, please be aware of the new law (GDPR) in place since 01. September 2023, which defines exactly when you are allowed to mark an address as Subscribed (see also: https://www.growthcollective.c...) so we do recommend you to use the option only in combination with a defined bexio category which syncs only specified entries.
  • Beside you can also use the states “cleaned” and “transactional” for deeper Mailchimp integrations. Please note that you do have to go for additional effort and setup in Mailchimp to use the states as expected. As we do not provide tailor-made Mailchimp integrations on our own you have to know how to use them or you use them only because your Mailchimp integrator asked you for.

• Choose which address types you would like to sync with Mailchimp
  • Sync only private persons if you are in B2C business
  • Sync only contacts (linked entry with the Company) if you are in B2B business
  • Or you can sync all your address entries (persons and contacts) if you need them both
  • If you’d like to sync only a selected number of entries, you can additional define a bexio category to mark the entries should be synced
  • Please note that the provided sync will create the members in your default Audience list. If you need a more customized Syncs to assign members in different Audiences, specific Tags depending to specified conditions of your bexio integration or other tailor-made Syncs please contact us.
  • SympleSync is an export in connect and exchange data between different applications. We are no experts in setup and running a Mailchimp-Account in specific. If you miss some integrations or know about better integrations feel free to contact us to improve our product and service, so our customer can benefit by best implementation possible.
